Pisa
We will drive you towards Pisa (30min drive). Here, you’ll make a brief photo stop by Campo dei Miracoli, or Miracle Square. Marvel at the exterior of the Campanile, better known as the Leaning Tower.After this, we can continue towards Lucca.
Lucca
Lucca is to be found along the road that leads to the coast from Florence. It is a distinctive city of art and Renaissance style surrounded by walls interrupted by beautiful gates and ramparts.
The day starts with a pleasant free walk along a section of the town walls to enjoy a beautiful view over the roofs, alleys, houses-towers, churches and marvellous noble palazzos, and a stop in the old town centre to see Piazza Anfiteatro, Giunigi tower, St. Martin’s Cathedral and the typical Street of Antiques shops.

Siena
We will drive you towards Siena through a scenic country road of the Chianti region. In Siena we’ll stop beside the Cathedral (Duomo), the most important church of the old Christian age.
From the Cathedral, you could easily walk to the famous Piazza del Campo with its particular “shell” shape where, in July and August, the annual spectacular palio horse race takes place.
San Gimignano
After visiting Siena, we will drive to the discovery of the “Middle Age Manhattan” the village of San Gimignano. It’s famous for the wall ring and the eight towers that you could easily reach from the San Giovanni gate walking through the only main street lined with old palaces and tiny shops. At the end of the visit, departure towards Livorno port.

This Livorno shore excursions offers everyone the opportunity to admire the beautiful Pisa and one of the oldest cities in Italy: Florence.
Pisa

Florence
Then we will drive to the fascinating city of Florence which is situated on both banks of the Arno River.
The first stop will be at San Miniato al Monte, a quiet place on the top of the hill upon Florence nearby the busy Michelangelo Square, from which you can enjoy a breathless view of Florence while you are told about some of the churches, palaces and bridges you are seeing.
Then we’ll drive down the hill to the historical center through a narrow road along the old Roman Walls and get into Florence through an ancient gate, S. Niccolo. If you have a reservation we’ll stop at the Academia Museum of Florence where you could admire the statue of David by Michelangelo (remember: Academia and Uffizi are closed on Monday).
After visiting the museums you’ll have time for lunch and explore the historical center with the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and the Baptistery, Signoria Square and the Old Palace, Ponte Vecchio with its jewels and gold shops. Shopping time at your request.
Finally an optional stop in Santa Croce Church. From there, drive back to your cruise ship dock.
